Nach 2005 und 2007 freuen sich viele ringrocker auf den Gig von Slayer auf der Alternastage. Bei den Shows der US-Tour wollen Slayer das 1990er Album Seasons In The Abyss angeblich komplett von Anfang bis Ende spielen. Ob das auch bei den Festivalauftritten so sein wird ist noch nicht bekannt. Rocken wirds eh!
Megadeth and Slayer, who last toured the U.S. together 19 years ago on the “Clash of the Titans” extravaganza, have confirmed that they will each perform, start to finish, their 1990 releases - Slayer’s world-wide, million-selling Seasons In The Abyss and Megadeth’s Platinum Rust In Peace - on the upcoming Canadian and American Carnage Tours. The passing of the baton/stick, so to speak: Well, after two years of good service to Wolfmother, Dave Atkins has decided to leave the band to spend much-needed time at home with his family.
Auch mit neuem Drummer wird der Gig von Wolfmother sicher wieder ein Highlight. 2007 hattet ihr und die Band auf jeden Fall ne Menge Spass und das wird in der bunten Mischung am Samstag auf der Centerstage mit Dizee Rascal, Gossip, Muse & Co. definitiv auch wieder so sein. So, we are not goin’ home. Word! \m/
Stairway To Heaven wurde von den Hörern des “Absolute Classic Rock-Radio” zum besten Rocksong aller Zeiten gewählt. (via)
